An Atomic Knowledge Unit (AKU) is a small, self-contained piece of knowledge focused on one task, process, or decision. It should be:

• Actionable – describes what to do and how
• Reusable – can stand alone in any guide or AI system
• Searchable – tagged and structured for AI or Notion search
